In case of death in a foreign country , the family often wants to bury the deceased in the home country.

We take care of all administrative barriers in the event of transportation of the deceased to the home country or from abroad and organize the funeral. When the deceased is transported to another country, applicable rules are provided by the respective consulate and embassy.

IMPLEMENTATION

The international transfer of a deceased person can be performed by car or by plane, making a burial abroad is made possible.

Rules and requirements are specified in European conventions (Straßburger Convention) now. We believe in making our services during the transfer abroad exactly on the rules governing the respective countries laws and regulations. Our transfer coffins are made of pine solid wood, mahogany-stained, high gloss finish and are of very high quality. The coffins are suitable for a funeral in their home country. In zinc coffin there is a window, thus a passage of the face can be allowed to face. Coffin transfer of the deceased by funeral car or plane

 
During the coffin transfer, the body is transported to the home country. After we get all the information about the deceased and the desired destination, We will make you an offer for the costs of transport abroad. Depending on the distance and destination, we consider this in consultation with the relatives, whether it makes more sense to transport the body to your home country by car or plane. Each country has its own IATA rates for airlines and therefore different costs.
 
The import regulations depend on the regulations of the respective country of destination. In the "International Agreement on the Transport of the Dead" by 1937, abbreviated "Berlin Agreement", and in the "European Convention on the Transport of the Dead" from the year 1973 - also "Strasbourg Agreement", the signatory states have established uniform measures regarding the international transportation of corpses. The “Berlin Agreement” forms the basis for the transfer of the deceased by funeral car, on the air- and by sea. The provisions of the "Strasbourg Agreement" represent the highest level of requirements, that can be requested by a contracting party.
 
Once all the necessary administrative procedures have been completed and has been obtained from the appropriate consulate, the entry permit for the body, the planning and organization of the journey begin. Before the body is transferred abroad, we can organize a memorial service in Germany for you, if desired.
